The FSU Partners for a Healthy Baby is a nationally recognized, research-based curriculum used by many home visiting models in all fifty states, several U.S. territories, and with the New Parent Support Program at numerous military bases in the U.S. and other countries to improve birth outcomes, reduce rates of child abuse, increase intervals between pregnancies, strengthen families, enhance child health and developmental outcomes, and support family stability and economic self-sufficiency.

The FSU Partners curriculum was developed by a highly experienced multi-disciplinary faculty team at Florida State University and designed to support a systematic approach to planning and conducting effective home visits.

The FSU Partners curriculum is unique in that it addresses issues of child health and development within the context of the multifaceted needs of expectant and parenting families. The curriculum’s evidence-informed (we say research-based in first paragraph; think we should be consistent and I’m ok with either one) content in each book supports the home visitor's ability to systematically plan home visits and address key topics that are essential in achieving both family and program outcomes.

Each book in the four-volume curriculum series — Before Baby Arrives, Baby's 1st Year, Baby's 2nd Year, and Toddler's 3rd Year — has a User's Guide, a Scope and Sequence, and an accompanying set of full-color handouts for the home visitor to use when planning their visits. These Parent Handouts, which can be purchased separately in English or Spanish, summarize critical information and help the home visitor introduce subjects that may otherwise be difficult to talk about with families.

The Partners for a Healthy Baby Digital Curriculum is a web-based, single-user, annual subscription service that provides users with full access to all four books in the Partners series and their almost 700 Parent Handouts in English. The digital curriculum option provides immediate access to updates, as well as the option to print, text, and email the Parent Handouts to share with families. The Spanish version of the Parent Handouts are available as an add-on to the annual digital subscription.

Digital curriculum subscribers will also have the exclusive opportunity to purchase our 2022 Developmental Activities package!
